Kindly invited by the HSCC to give the car it's race debut at the Snetterton Guards Trophy meeting.

Basically after a few teething dramas - which were only to be expected - the old girl finished - and after the leading two retired - won!
The handling was pretty dire - the chassis was never designed to take the weight and power of a 3 litre v8 - I am sure it handled better with the 1 litre F2 period lump it originally came with...
I was absolutely delighted with the performance of the engine - it didn't miss a beat. The 40 year old Armstrong dampers though needed to be ditched at the front and after the race I invested in some standard steel bodied spax dampers - although I left the Armstrongs on the rear.
Engine stripped for inspection - no major problems! - Bloody delighted!
In June at Brands F3 meeting I took car along to the event just to show it at the request of HSCC - alot of interest in the car which was great!
