This site documents the recreation of the 1966 Lotus 35 Martin F1 car

The car enjoyed a brief competition career - and was driven by Roy Pike and Piers Courage untill it was destroyed by Piers in a testing incident at Snetterton.

6 years and approximately 5000 hours of labour after starting the project - a faithful recreation of the original car hit the track in 2009.
